If you allow your compression to slip, the golf cart will cease to function. If parts like the Yamaha Intake Manifold Gasket are allowed to go by the wayside, your pressure to run things like the fuel pump and carb will slowly start to slip. When this happens, the performance will fall off until the caddie does not run at all.
The golf cart intake manifold gasket we have here will work for the G2, G8, G9, G11, and G14 models. These are are the early gas G-models, excluding the two-cycle models. The units are aftermarket replacements because the OEM is no longer available. However, these were made to the same spec that the factory used initially to expect at least stock performance or better. If you happen to have a service or a parts manual, and you should, the OEM part # is J38-13556-01. If you do not have a manual, add that to your order, it should be the first tool you buy for your golf cart.
